Star Wars Kids

Story time is a great activity that they have at the Provo library once a week. Kira and I would go to the baby story time a lot before Joshua was born. Since Josh we haven't been as much. We went today though and had a great time. This story time is for babies ages 1-2 although it seems like the older kids get more out of it. Our friends Alyssa and Kyah were there, it was so fun to see them. Kyah and Kira are the best of friends and have so much fun when they're together. Anyways the theme for this story time was space. We took a trip to the moon, talked to some aliens, sang some songs, read a story and then came back to earth. The closing music however was Kira's favorite part. As they were passing out coloring pages, they turned on music and low and behold it was the Star Wars theme. Kira got so excited, she smiled at me and made sure I recognized it, marched around and sang a long. Sure we sang the "wings on the ship" (to the the tune of the "Wheels on the Bus") and hello everybody and clap your hands, which has always been a favorite, but what did Kira get excited about the most... Star Wars. Her Daddy should be so proud.
