Games, Friends and Benadryl!

Last night we went to our friends Timm and Jessie's house to play games. I love hanging out with people and playing games so even though they have 3 cats (2 are hairless) I thought it would be worth it. I guess I should say for those who don't know I am highly allergic to cats. I took a benadryl before we left to hopefully get it into my system. I only took one because I didn't want to be too tired to not enjoy myself. However after an hour or two of being there my eyes were getting red, my chest was constricted, it was apparent that one benadryl would not be enough. Lou ran home and grabbed me more benadryl (we live a 30 second walk from Jessie) I took 2 more. Now, most people know benadryl makes you tired but however if you don't allow yourself to sleep it can make you quite silly. I could laugh at everything and anything. I don't know if I always made sense but I had a great time.We had so much fun playing games with Timm, Jessie, Mark and Robyn. I guess we truly are geeks since we enjoyed the game "Munchkin"
It was so nice to be out with fun people, playing games and having conversations with people who make you laugh until you can't stop! I hope we get invited to their game night again :)
Oh, I had to teach in Relief Society today. It went wonderfully. I was concerned because I felt like I had a "benadryl hangover" thank goodness for Relief Society sisters who love to make tons of comments.

I'm really glad you guys enjoyed Munchkin! It was definitely fun playing with you guys, and i have to say, the "benadryl effect" was hilarious. Looking forward to Book Club at your place!
