Lou's Dad and brother Mark left on Saturday, it's been kind of lonely during the day now that everyone's left, since we had visitors for nearly 4 weeks we got use to people being around all the time. It is nice to get back to a normal schedule though. Kira really misses her babas and her Mark, she talks about them all day long. Kira did get to talk to Nana and Mark on the phone yesterday, she was very excited about that and pretended to talk to them many times on her play phone the rest of the day.
Joshy has 3 new teeth and Kira has 2 new teeth. It wasn't perfect timing for them to be teething with visitors and Lou's cousin's wedding but it wasn't too bad. Joshy looks really cute and really grown up with this 3 new teeth, we are hoping the 4th top tooth will come a long soon so he doesn't look too funny for too long. We haven't captured a picture of him yet with his teeth showing but when we do we'll post it.
Lou started school last week. It is going to be a super busy hard semester. Lou has a lot of hard classes, now that he is nearing the end, which means lots of studying, homework and projects. We are so looking forward to the day when school is behind us. Lou is incredible at handling stress so I know he'll do just fine. He gets home about 5, plays with the kids, has dinner and then goes straight to his homework, he is doing so well:)
It's hard to believe that it's the end of August, the summer sure did fly by. I am looking forward to Fall, it's one of my favorite times of year. I love the coolness in the air, I love the changing leaves in the valley and in the mountains, I love making soups and baking breads, I love looking forward to the approaching holidays, it's just a wonderful time of year. I am also excited for my favorite TV shows to come back with their new seasons. I am anxious to see what will happen with Jim and Pam on The Office I am anxious to see what will happen with Lorelai and Luke on Gilmore Girls and well with Lost I am just anxious to see what is going on with everyone. I am also very excited for my sewing class it begins in 3 weeks from tomorrow. I will learn how to make shirts, how to properly place sleeves and collars and other great stuff...I just can't wait.
Wish us luck with Lou's busy semester. We know we can do it, sacrafice brings forth blessings... right?

Good luck Louis! We know you will do awesome; you are a great student, father, and husband. It's awesome that you can handle all your responsibilities so well. Diana, you will do great at home with your two cuties, too. You are an amazing mom.
I can't believe that summer is almost over, either. I'm kind of in denial! (: Summer is my favorite time of year, but fall is a close second. I too love cooking bread and soups..yum! And, we're watching the second season of G.Girls right now. I have the first on dvd and I've seen it and all of the 4th, 5th, and 6th, but I have missed some of the earlier episodes, so it is fun to go back and see them. Loving netflix for that reason, too. (:
I'm so glad summer is ending and fall will be starting soon. I love the routine, the new tv schedule, the cooler temperatures, and the normalness of life.
Good luck with your sewing class, that sounds impossible to me, but then again I can't sew a straight line.
I have been having those "happy summer is ending" feelings as well lately. So nice! Linc hates balancing work and school but is so good at it too. It is amazing sometimes how great husbands can be at handling that stress. What does Lou do? I don't think I have ever asked.
The sewing class sounds fun- someday I will actually learn how to sew instead of just making it up as I go or calling my mom.
