On Monday, Louis took Joshy to the doctor for his first year checkup. I know that in 3 days he'll be 13 months so we're running a little behind but better late than never right. Joshy saw the nurse practitioner because our doctor is out on medical leave. (If anyone knows of a good pediatrition in Provo, that would be great... Hannah thanks for telling me about Mya's doctor in Lehi but I think closer would be better). Josh is healthy except for an ear infection, we suspected he had one since the end of last week but didn't want to take him in since he'd be going in on Monday. The doctor was a little worried because since he was 7 months old he hasn't been gaining weight and he is kind of flat lining it on the growing curve, we have to take him back into the doctor in a few months to see if he is starting to follow a new curve or if we need to do anthing. ( I don't know what we can do but that's just what the doctor said). The doctor was also really impressed that Josh has a name for his sister Kira, he calls her ra ra, it is very adorable when they talk to eachother, Kira just loves it when he says her name.

Today the kids and I took a very long walk to the Provo Post office, it's such a beautiful sunny day I thought we should take advantage of it. All and all we walked over 2 miles and it was so nice. I walked down Center Street for a good chunck of the walk, it was so pretty. I noticed shops that I never knew exisited. It's amazing how much more you notice when you walk instead of drive. I always feel like I am doing my New York heritage proud when I walk to a location that normally I would drive to.
This past week Louis and I have been watching Lost season 2 again, and it is so good watching them all in a row, it is getting me so excited for season 3. I saw a promo for it online yesterday, it showed some new clips, all I can say is exciting!

I love being able to walk places too- you notice so much more and get the benefit of walking.
I hate it when doctors tell you to just sit back and see what happens for the next month or so. The waiting game is a true pain in the butt and I always go crazy thinking that if something is wrong, here we wasted all this time!
See ya tonight!
Diana,
Absolutely gorgeous. You can see the closeness they share. I can see different family members in each of them. Kira and Josh are at such a fun age. You are going to have a wonderful time watching them interact and develop their relationship.
Glad to read you are taking advantage of your 'New York' heritage and are out and about walking. Provo is a great town to walk around.
Love to all,
Mary
I used to love walking down Center Street. There are some really cool stores on Center that you just don't see if you're not strolling by at a leisurely pace. Great way to utilize a beautiful day.
