My little Josh has another ear infection. Josh has been crying in the night (thankfully not waking up enough that we have to do anything) so we figured something must be going on with him. I took him to the doctor yesterday, we actually got to see our doctor who is back from medical leave. Josh was diagnosed with another ear infection. This makes 3 ear infections in the last 2 months. The doctor has reported that he has had 5 total, but I know it is more than that and the doctor said it has been more but somehow they didn't get recorded. Now,because of the frequency of Josh's ear infections he has to see a specialist (ENT) who will hopefully put tubes in his ears. I feel so bad for my little guy. The doctor told me that it takes about 6 weeks for fluid to drain out of the ear, at that rate if Josh has had at least 5 infections that's 30 weeks of fluid in his ears and he has only been around for about 56 weeks. That doesn't seem fair. The appointment with the specialist is on October 27th, crazy that that is the soonest that they can get us in with the doctor but I guess we take what we can get.
I am enjoying the beautiful weather. I am really getting sad to think that it's probably going to get cold soon. I love taking the kids on walks inbetween naps. Today we walked to the post office again, it's such a nice walk. I walked down 1st instead of Center Street today, it was nice and quiet. I found a Mexican restaurant that I want to try out, it is really authentic, the menu is only in Spanish, same with the advertising on the window, yet it looked clean. It reminded me of a place that we ate at on my mission a lot. Oh yummy real Mexican food. I went to the post office to mail off some good mail for my sister Sandi and my cousin Karli. I am excited to get these off, it's nice to know that someone's going to open their mailbox to something good.
Tonight The Office is on and I can't wait. Yesterday I walked to the store with the kids for our walk, on the way home I was waiting at the light and there was a guy in a car also waiting, I thought oh my goodness that's Jim. I got really excited (I don't know why). Then I realized umm Jim doesn't exist and why would the actor that portrays him be at 8th N and 5th W in Provo. I felt really silly afterwards for getting so excited thinking it was Jim.
Less than a week until Lost. I am getting so excited. We are going to have a big Lost party. I wish that my fellow Lost fans who live far away could come and enjoy the season premier with us. I enjoyed the little recap show last night. Jessica and I are going to have Lost marathon this weekend during Priesthood to get us in a Lost mood.

Dang, that's too bad that Josh has another infection. Poor guy. How long will the tubes stay in? Let us know if we can do anything.
So excited to get some good mail! None of my friends know about that concept, and I think it is a great idea! I need to start compiling and sending more of it. Thanks for helping us out.
Have fun watching The Office. I've never seen an episode, so I don't want to start watching now and be lost. (: Have a great day and give the kids hugs.
Oh, Karli you should start watching The Office. It's totally your and Zac's sense of humor. You wouldn't be lost by starting in now.
It is crazy how many kids are having to get tubes put in now- my mom works at Timp hospital and has at least 3 a day. Luckily it is an easy procedure- I hope he doesn't have to be in pain too much before they check him out.
I am loving the walks with Mya as well and feel like I am in denial about the weather changing- cruel mother nature.
We are going to borrow The Office first season from Jessie and Timm this weekend. I can't wait. Love watching TV on DVD...
Poor Josh. Lucas had tubes and it made a world of difference. He had so many infections that he had hearing loss and his language was even delayed. It's good to get right on the treatment! Still can't believe you didn't have to get up with him in the night... lucky girl!
