4-0 Baby and a Kitten in the House!

Memo, Andre, Derron, Derrik, and Boozer may not mean too much to you but for me last night they provided great entertainment for me. The Jazz have stability and consistency that they haven't had since Stockton and Malone. I am so excited for this season, the Jazz are playing like a playoff team. They are competitive and so much fun to watch. They have so many sharp shooters and great defensive player you never know who is going to step up to win the ball game!
Cats and Dogs may as well be mountain lions and wolves to me, I am so afraid of them. I am not afraid if they are someone's pet but just wandering cats and dogs scare me terribly. Yesterday I was leaving to pick up Lou from work, it always takes a little effort to get Kira and Josh out of the house. I was holding Josh, telling Kira to walk out the door, she didn't want to, I didn't know why she usually loves to go out but all of the sudden she screamed and said "no meow". We have a stupid stray kitten wandering around our complex, I hate it, it follows you wherever you are. Well the kitten somehow ran into our apartment. I literally screamed. I was so frightened. I immediately called Jessie, she didn't pick up (found out later she had Harry Potter going to loud to hear her phone) I left a frantic message that she had a hard time understanding and laughed at. Well I was so frightened and didn't want to get the cat out of my house myself so I ran next door with Josh in tote, Kira was safe on the couch and wouldn't move from there (she like her mother is very scared of cats and dogs... Except Jessie's cats)I ran nextdoor and got one of the boys who lives there (who I hadn't met before) to come over and get the cat. We finally found the cat, I should say the guy did (I stayed safe in the living room with Kira and Josh). We then got Lou and I was a little afraid to go home, I knew the cat wouldn't be in the house but I didn't want to be where he had been. I don't know why but I hate that a cat has been in my house. I sprayed Lyesol where I think the cat was and that makes me feel somewhat better but in the words of my Kira "oh gross!" My heart pounded from the time the cat came into the house until about 8 that night. Crazy huh!
Just some cute pictures. Kira as a BYU fan, Josh taking his shirt off, and Kira making her Daddy proud, playing with a light saber and wearing a Pink Floyd hat.
Oh the picture of the page is something Lou and I thought was hilarious, I checked Chocolat out of the library and someone had dog earred the first page. I guess she had a hard time remembering where she was (ha- ha)

I feel exactly the same way about dogs and cats..especially in the house. Ever since I started cleaning houses, I am even more passionate about never having animals in my home. It's so disgusting...no offense to all friends and family who have pets in the house. I just can't imagine having a baby crawling around with all the animal hair and the likes. (: I'm proud of you for getting the neighbor boy to get the cat out. Totally something I would have done! Go Kira!
Such cute pictures! And, let me know how that book is, too. And, how fun for you to go to Florida. Tell Louis if he needs a break to bring the kids for a visit for a couple of the days and I'll watch the kids while he & Zac play. (: You know I'm craving some K&J time!

This is a new and hilarious side of Diana that I didn't know existed. A kitten? Seriously? You crack me up. Glad your neighbor guy could rescue you- what a way to meet the neighbors!

The dog ear thing in the book is funny. I checked out a book once and someone had made tons of notes and marked passages- very passionately I might add. The funny part was I couldn't tell what was so great about what was marked. The most random things that seriously had no impact on me. To each their own I suppose.

A kitten...so funny Diana.

It's so hilarious to think about your trying to disinfect your apartment from the cat contamination. What a crazy story.

Way cute pictures! I thought that cat story was so funny! It was pretty cool however how fast Jessie found it a new home :) Normally I'm not a fan of cats, but I liked this one! Sorry it was traumatizing for you though and it sucks we have to wait until February for new LOST episodes!! Argh! (who needs Day Break anyway?)

Now hang on a second -- Kira is afraid of cats, but NOT Jessie's cats??! Even people who like cats are afraid of Jessie's cats! I guess she must not recognize them as cats... I know Eva doesn't!

Is it bad that I'm finding this fear of a kitten a little humorous? It's not mean spirited, I just can't imagine being so frightened of a little cat! Dogs--that I can understand. Strange dogs freak me out.
