Wii

Wow do I want a Wii. We went to our friends house on Friday night and played their Wii for over 4 hours. My arms were sore for 2 days after but it was totally worth the pain. WE had so much fun it was us and 2 other couples playing. I beat Lou in boxing (lou beats me at every kind of video game) so that felt really good. All of the sports games were a lot of fun. They also had this game about Rayman the rabbit. (I think) It includes 70 different games all about these bunnies. We laughed so much while playing the game, it was a riot. Lou and I and the other couple (Kenny and Jessica) both left wanting a Wii. Kenny heard that Circuit City was gettting a shipment in today of 16 Wii's unfortunately the worker did not tell him to be there at 7:00 am to get a voucher first. Kenny was there around 9, was the first one in a long line to find out they wouldn't be getting a Wii, because they didn't have a voucher. We thought that was really unfair. The store doesn't open until 10, but workers get there at 9 (lou use to work there) why not tell the people in line at 9 instead of waiting till the store opened about the whole voucher thing, just seemed like a cruel joke. Kenny did end up finding a place in Orem who took his name down to be on a list. I couldn't believe how much fun we had playing the Wii, even when you weren't playing it was hilarious to watch the other's play. It is fun and active and a video game system that I wouldn't mind my kids playing. Now when to get the Wii. My birthday is coming up and so is Lou's graduation.. so hmm just maybe if the demand is lower by then we can luck out.
Between the Wii and another game night last night playing Cranium Pop 5, it was a weekend full of friends and games, my favorite kind of weekend.

I've never been much of a video game player myself, but my brother would probably love a Wii! And I know it's been forever since I've seen you! I hope games were fun last night!

We love our wii. It has been a very fun addition to our home. (: We play it constantly and especially love playing with friends. So fun. We haven't bought the Rabbit game yet, but it's on our list of "to buys." There are a couple others we've ordered, so it should be fun. We love it! Glad you had such a fun weekend!

Jeremy's company just got a Wii for their game room. He played it for the first time this week and adored it. I'm sure he'll want to get one for our condo--and I'll become hooked. I'm such a video game fanatic. The Wii looks so cool!

My experience with the Wii has been Michelle's horror stories of trying to get one for Christmas, and then the few times I've watched my kids play it while at her house. I think it's ridiculous and hilarious. My kids end up tired and sweaty so I guess it's some form of exercise, but I still think it's kind of retarded.

We got the Wii for Christmas and love it. My son and I (5 yrs old) love playing tennis and bowling together. I love that I don't have to know a thousand different button combos to push to know how to play the games. Good luck finding one. It will be well worth it. :)

I would love to have a Wii too Diana! I think it would be hilarious to have games to play with matt and the kids that would make them move the controller even more than they do when they are playing the racing games on the xbox. I think that the tennis game would be my favorite, because I would have to be so good at tennis to play it like in real life. I just don't want to pay the price that I would have to to have enought controllers, the games that the boys would love, plus us girls! So, I wait for the boys to raise the money that they are raising for their own Wii and will play with that!
