Kira's Letters

Sorry about the quality of the picture. I hope you can see some of it Kira wrote an "A" today and 2 "Y"s the circle looking thing is her attempt at a B. This morning we decided no TV for the day so Kira was drawing. I was getting ready and Kira came in all excited, she showed me her "A" I was so proud of her. I at first though maybe Lou had written it for her but he didn't. Kira hasn't been able to reproduce it yet which is frustrating for her and causing me to write a lot of "A"s today but I'm willing to do that to help her learn.
yeah so I think Kira has been a little addicted to TV she woke up at 7:40 am this morning (usual wake up time is 9:00 or so) she hasn't woken up that early since she was younger than 2 months old. She woke up just to watch TV so thats when I decided that she is going to have a TV fast. It's been a good day and we'll continue it for awhile. I guess I've been kind of lazy about her TV watching lately, when she was sick I was really leniant and well we just kind of stayed in the habit. I don't mind some TV but when she's waking up just to watch TV that's out of control. She has been super tired all day so I know she didn't get enough sleep (I know some of you think she's getting older so she doesn't need as much sleep but Kira needs her sleep granted she doesn't need naps everyday anymore but her night sleep has to be at least 13 1/2 hours or she is so tired) so hopefully tomorrow morning will be better if not tomorrow soon. We are going to buy her a bed this weekend so we except some changes but hopefully not for too long.
Josh is doing cute things too. Today after Kyah and Isaac left (I watch them for an hour for Alyssa so she can have time to pack.. they move this weekend luckily just here in Provo) I was cleaning up and Josh my little helper wiht everything started to help and he was singing "clean- up clean up everybody everywhere " Its a song we sing all the time when we clean up in our house (I'm sure everyone knows it from nursery), I wasn't sining it but he jsut started right in, he didn't say the words of course but the tune was perfect. (thank goodness my second child can sing too!) Josh like Kira is very concerned about messes, he is starting to pick up toys and putting them in drawers, he has to put his pacifier where it belongs after he wakes up ( I know he should be off it, Kira was at 11 months but with Josh there hasn't been a good time he ONLY uses it to SLEEP) . Josh helps with the laundry and putting clothes away, he is just a little angel.
