Josh and I are all alone!

Yesterday in the early afternoon Lou, Mark and Kira left for Moab to meet up with Lou's parents. Now we were all planning on taking this trip until Kira gave me her strep. Kira was feeling better so she went but I kept feeling worse and worse so Josh (who is on the mends from a stomach virus and I'm pretty sure he has strep too) and I are home.
It's been weird and quiet at our house, I have enjoyed spending time a lone with Josh I don't think I've ever spent an entire day with just him. I forgot how easy it is with just one child, especially one that naps nearly the entire day. Lou is getting home tonight so our time apart is almost up.
Sorry I haven't blog much lately but like I said the last week or so we've been hit with illnesses.
We're enjoying having Lou being finished with school, he gets home from work and doesn't have any committments it's really nice. We've watched the playoffs, he's gone rollerblading in the evenings, Kira loves that he's home to put her to bed and we've enjoyed watching our shows (the office and Lost) which are almost coming to an end. (By the way that was a freaky episode of Lost on Wednesday)
Thursday we were suprised with a visit from my sister Sandi and my niece Mckenna who were in town for a dance competition. I feel bad that I was so sick so I wasn't too good of company. Kira on the other hand had a lot of fun with Mckenna and sought her attention the entire time they were here.
Well hopefully life will pick up a little bit when we're all well and healthy.
