Doesn't Kira look gorgeous? Yesterday was Kira's first day of dance class. We missed the first week (we just signed her up yesterday) that's why she is the only little girl not in a leotard. Good thing she is still too young to care about things like that. She was a little sad when the other kids got to change from their tap shoes to ballet shoes and she didn't but other than that it wasn't an issue at all. This class is being offered through Lou's work, it's a 6 week class and we get 50% off. If she really likes it (which she did yesterday) I'll probably sign her up with the same teacher for a regular class. The teacher, Miss Charlie, was very good with the kids she kept their attention and made it a lot of fun for them. Like most dance teachers she requests a lot of respect, which always makes me laugh, not that the don't deserve respect but there is just something about dance teachers. I took some video I don't know how to edit it so I"ll have Lou show me so I can post it. Lou was able to take lunch and come home to be with Joshy (who was napping) so I could just take Kira. It was really nice.
Other things going on is Joshy has another ear infection. He had been acting like it for about a week so on Monday I took him to the doctor and sure enough he has another one.
Kira makes me laugh every day with her comments. On Monday I asked her if she wanted tacos for dinner she said no. I asked her why and she said because you cleaned the kitchen today and Joshy will make a big mess. I love that! I love that she thinks about things like that. (a daughter after my own heart)
Happy Birthday Sandi. I will do a post dedicated to you. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you and that I love you!

Oh my goodness that is too precious! SHe looks darling! I love little girls in dance classes! Can't wait to see her in a leotard, too. She is way too cute. So fun for you and her to do that together today. Definitely keep us posted on that front!
Sorry Josh is sick again. Poor kid has bad luck with ears, huh?

Love you Diana!

How cute! I love little girls in leotards dancing ballet--it's so adorable! And that's too funny about her reasons for not wanting tacos--kids surprise me sometimes with their insight!
Every little girl should take Dance. It looks like so much fun. What a cute girl
Yeah!!! Another Field girl that dances! Kenna loves Kira's piggytails, she can't wait to see more pictures of her dancing.
I am so glad that she has the opportunity to have a fun class with so many other little girls.
Poor Joshy, will you give him a hug for me?
Thanks for the birthday message and phone call.
Love ya,
I bet she totally loves it. You will have to post a picture when she has the whole dance get-up on. How fun for the two of you to have this together.
Poor Josh- the kid can't catch a break! I hope it clears up soon.
