Goodbye Jazz... Hello Free time

I haven't posted in awhile because Lou was working on a post about his trip to Moab a few weeks ago with Kira and his parents and brother but hasn't yet finished it. I didn't want to post around the time he did because he NEVER posts and I didn't want to take away from it but since it's been over a week well ...

Well I feel like I have a lot more time on my hands now that my shows are over for the year as our my Utah Jazz. Crazy that TV could keep you busy but I had Lost on Wednesdays and Thursdays were filled with The Office and Scrubs. It seems like the Jazz were playing every other day or so and if not them some other playoff game I'd be interested in watching. The Jazz had a terrific post season I was so impressed with what they did considering their 2 Stars had never previously been to the playoffs. The team as a whole kind of fell apart in the San Antonio Series which was disappointing but one guy Deron Williams never backed down which makes me excited for future seasons to see what he can do for the Jazz. I predict that he'll lead the team to something that Stockton and Malone could never do and that is a championship. Deron and Boozer have a much better supporting cast than John and Karl ever had, they just need a little more experience together and perhaps a better shooting guard and I say Finals here we come!

About my shows the Lost season finale was absolutely incredible probably the best 2 hours on television I've ever seen. The next day Jessie and I had to talk about it again because we were both still thinking about it. I couldn't sleep that night because I had all these different theories and thought and emotions running in my head and heart. Now that's when you know it's a good show. Just writing about it makes me want to watch it again. Lou and I did watch it the following night because well you have to watch it without commercials and watching it knowing whats going to happen so you can try to figure somethings out. I can't wait to watch it with Sharon when she comes out this summer. I do hate though that we have to wait until February to find out what happens.
The Office left me totally happy, I am so happy that Pam and Jim are going on a date! I'm just a little sad that I have to wait until September to see how it goes. I'm also excited to see Ryan as Michael's new boss there are going to be some funny scenes with that.
Scrubs was great and I hope JD and Elliot get back together.

Okay enough about TV and the Jazz, there is more to our lives than that although it seems like I've talked about either Lost or the Jazz so much lately what else is there to talk about :) No seriously though last night we had book club. It was as wonderful as always except we did miss Bridgett who thinks she is coming down with strep. I had strep a few weeks ago so I feel very bad for her knowing how painful and awful strep can be. We never end up talking too much about the book but there is never a lull in conversation. Hannah made us yummy quesadillas and the rest of us brought goodies so the refreshments were great too. I held Hannah's baby, Kaylee a lot which is fun. I love holding little babies and it's great knowing they're not coming home with me. (I'll make a great grandma)

The kids caught a bug from Jessie's little girl and of course Joshy stays sick forever. He has been sick for over a week now but he seems to be doing a little better today. Kira caught it from Joshy a few days ago but she doesn't act sick, she jsut has a running nose and a hoarse voice. She never stays sick for long. So I feel like we've been hermits for awhile hopefully next week we can be more social.

Well not much else is going on I love the warm weather. Today Kira and I played out front while Joshy took his morning nap, Kira actually was sweating it was funny. She made beautiful pictures with her sidewalk chalk from Kyah (which she reminded me every 5 minutes that Kyah gave it to her for her birthday).
Well hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thanks for holding Kaylee so much- I feel the same way about other people's babies and love holding my niece because I know I get her when she is happy and don't have to worry about the rest.

I hope your kids are better by next Thursday so our girls can all enjoy the swimming pool.

I want to know your theories about LOST, you always think things through so much better than I do. I tend to forget important stuff from the past and get all cluttered mentally. I thought it was a great finale though.

I am not a Lost watcher (although I tell myself I'm going to get the DVDs from Netflix and catch up--maybe this summer!) but I adore the office. It's the only show I actually sit and give my undivided attention to. I can't wait, no actually I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! until the season premier. I would not miss the longing ache that they've had for each other over the last three seasons, though I did enjoy it. Now we can jsut see how sweet Jim and Pam are together. I'm just hoping that they don't pull a fast one on us in that department. I'll be so mad!

It's great that basketball and TV end for the summer. It woud be a small form of torture for me to have to sit and watch TV all night when it's light outside. TV is for the dark!
