Mandy delivered a healthy baby girl last night at 9:30. Little baby Claire weighs just over 3 lbs. She is doing so well she isn't even on oxygen. Claire is on an IV but more as a precaution than a necessity. Mandy is doing well they are working on bringing her blood pressure down so she'll be on strict bed rest for a few days and Claire will only be in the hospital for a few weeks, just until she can regulate her body temperature (she needs to gain some fat).

So glad things are going good for them. I can't even imagine a 3 pound baby. 3 pounds! And she won't have to stay long in the hospital? What a blessing that is.

Hey, I stumbled upon your blog from Jessie's and I check for updates every once in a while. It is a good way to get to know you. :) Anyway, I wanted to comment on this because I know this situation all too well! Both my girls were born under 3 pounds.
