Ramblings

It seems like we've been pretty busy for us nothing to exciting but we're getting out of the house a little more than usual. Miracles of all miracles happened yesterday. I took Josh to the doctor to make sure that his ears were okay. It's so hard to tell because he still has a fever and is still tugging away but the doctor said his ears look clear and perfect. The miracle however is that neither of the kids cried. Kira hasn't cried for awhile she actually asked the doctor to check her out (she just came she wasn't sick) and Josh just sat quietly on my lap while the doctor checked him out. It was so nice to not feel warn out and to not have a headache after visiting the doctor. Hopefully Josh's fever will break soon, he doesn't really act sick unless he doesn't get enough sleep.
Kira once again really enjoyed her dance class on Tuesday. She gets giddy when she says her teacher's name.. Miss. Charlie. It's so cute. I took video again that Lou will have to help me edit.
I like getting my kids involved in things it's quite fun. I was the only Mom taking video. I also wrote down all her dances so we can practice at home. THe rest of the moms just sat around reading or doing nothing, hardly talking to each other. How often do you get to see a bunch of 3 year olds dance. It's so much fun and so hilarious especially when it's your kid. I always talk to other moms. Why make it a boring hour for yourself. I know they probably all think I"m crazy with my camera and my notebook but oh well.
Yesterday we went over to Alyssa's to play it was a lot of fun. Kira and Kyah are so funny together. Their personalities are completely different but they compliment each other really well. Josh and Isaac don't play with each other yet but they stand around each other so they're getting there. I love my weekly talks with Alyssa. IT's hard to believe we've been friends for about 5 years now and really good friends for the past 3 1/2 years or so. I'm so happy both of our husbands will be at their jobs for a while so we can continue our friendship.
Last night Jessie came over she scrapped and I sewed while we watched Heroes. I love how comfortable we are with each other. It is so hard to find friends that you're so comfortable with. She forgot something at her house so she ran home and just came right in, i thought how many people would I want to do that but with her it 's so natural. WE don't care what we're doing but as long as we're hanging out we're happy. I'll miss her but I'm not thinking about her move yet.
Other news. Lou and I are going to Chicago in August for a few days. I can't wait I haven't returned since my mission. I am so excited. It will be the first time that both of us will be away from the kids. I hope they do ok.
In November we're going to Orlando. I'm so excited to see my parents. It's fun having Lou have all these conferences. Yea for full time jobs :)

So glad it isn't another infection for Josh and I hope whatever it is doesn't stick around much longer.

Pretty exciting to get a trip away with Lou- did it end up working out for your in laws to come down for the kids? I bet Kira and Josh will do just fine either way.

I love that you take video and take notes. I do that in Noah's classes. It does make it so much more fun. Have fun on your fun trips. Hooray for full time jobs
