Anyone who knows me knows that I am a sleep natzi regarding my kids sleep schedule. Well yesterday I did something totally outside my comfort zone and let my kids stay up until 11:00 pm! I don't think our kids have ever ever been up that late. I was really nervous agreeing going to the Bee's baseball game just because it started at 7:05pm. My kids are usually asleep for the night a little before 7:00. Anyways it was the 4th and Lou's parents bought the tickets so well we went. I am so glad we did. Miriam and Ryan and Sadie are in town so they were at the game too and Lou's aunt Marlene and Uncle Roy were there with their kids and grandkids. It was a great family event. The game was pretty fun and ended in exciting fashion with the Bee's last batter up hitting a home run to win the game. The kids did so great they didn't cry or whine or fuss. Josh was happy eating everyone's leftover snacks and food, Kira was having fun playing with Nana's baseball mitt, they really were good the entire time, I'm not just saying it. After the game they had fireworks that were really good. I haven't seen a big fireworks show since before the kids were born so I really enjoyed it. I was worried that the kids would be afraid but nope they loved it.
Today they are a little grumpy but they slept in and are napping now so all is well.
Hope everyone had a great 4th
I forgot to take my camera so I'll have to get pictures from Leann and Miriam.

I can't believe you let your kids stay up that late! I'm glad it all went well and you guys had a most stellar time. I'm not usually a fan of just watching baseball on the television, but I love going to games. Happy 4th!
It is cool that you ended up taking them- I bet Kira will remember it for a long time. She didn't seem too out of sorts when we saw her either, so that is a plus. Hope they are back on their sleep schedule soon.
