My little Joshua turned 2 years old over a week ago. Joshua's birthday is August 16. Joshua is a very special little boy. I wanted to share some of my favorite things about Joshua
1. Josh only made me gain 15 lbs when I was pregnant with him. (compared to 40 with Kira!)
2. Josh was the easiest labor I could've imagined. I was induced because I wasn't growing (my belly stayed at 32 weeks). We learned that my water had been leaking. I had to be at the
hospital at 6:30 am. I was induced at 8:30 or so, Josh was born at 11:45 am after only 2 or 3 pushes!
3. Josh slept through the night at 10 days old.
4. Josh was the most easygoing newborn I've ever seen. (I thought Kira was easy, she was but Josh was even easier)
5. Josh takes very good naps and has always had a very good schedule
6. Josh loves music (His favorite songs are Seamus by Pink Floyd (he loves the dogs howling and barking), Stickshifts and Safetybelts by Cake and How much is that Doggy in the Window( agian the dog barking)
7. Josh is content to play by himself ( I'd say he's content to play by hours by himself but really when is Josh ever up for hours at a time)
8. Josh loves to make us laugh... he'll make funny faces at us, spin in circles and fall on the floor, anything to get a laugh.
9. Josh is very smart, although he doesn't talk much he understands everything we tell him and is able to communicate with us. Every once in awhile he'll come out with a complete sentence. (last night he said " It's time to go" when we were leaving Nana and Gramps)
10. Josh knows what he wants but he doesn't throw fits to get it.
11. Josh loves to cuddle
12. Josh loves his sister Kira more than anyone
13. Josh loves to clean and put things away
14. Josh loves to go on walks
15. Josh loves to pray.
Joshua is such a nice , sweet little boy. I am so happy that he is my son.

I've never even seen Josh in person. He sounds like a great kid! Sounds like we had opposite experiences in pregnancies--I gained only about 20lbs with Skylar and 40 with Trevor!!
I had no idea it was possible to only gain 15 pounds with a pregnancy! (Oh wait, I think my mom LOST 7 pounds when she was pregnant with me -- but she was dieting!)
A 3 hours labor? With an induction? And he slept through the night at 10 days old?! I hope you know that you're a very lucky woman!
Josh is so cute! Happy birthday! His birthday is just 10 days before mine--yay for August birthdays!
You are such an example to me Diana! Love that little boy and am grateful for the picture he and Kira colored and sent me. It's hanging on the fridge and was so sweet!

What a little sweetheart. A loveable little guy--but, of course, who wouldn't love a child who sleeps as much as he does? I always love my kids more when they sleep well. ;)
