Top Ten Reasons to be Happy this Past Week

I could be sad right now because Lou left last night to go to Chicago. Well actually he spent the night at his parents so that they could take him to his early morning flight this morning. Now I could be sad because I served my mission in Chicago and I haven't been back since, I could be sad because I was going to go with Lou but than our car that has over 192,000 miles on it and has never given us trouble gave us trouble a month ago and cost us over $2000 so we have no extra money whatsoever right now which cost me my trip to Chicago However I am choosing not to be sad but think about what made me happy this past week. These are really in no particular order of how happy it made me.

1. Talking to Sharon on the phone every day since she went home.
2. Receiving support and encouragement from my friends and my family before and after my Jazz blogger interview.
3. Emailing a lot with Hannah this week.
4. Buying Gilmore girls season 1. (my treat for Lou's trip) and watching a disc every night while he's gone!
5. My walk with Robin and looking forward to many more
6. Talking with Jessie again
7. New lip gloss
8. indexing at Familysearch.org
9. Joshy giving me a kiss instead of saying a word when I ask him to say a word and then have him giggle and giggle.
10. Kira asking every day when we get to see Sharon and her cousins again.

Pictures from Sharon's visit. (look at that cute nursing cover I made for her)

Sorry you couldn't go with Lou to Chicago. Hopefully it will happen someday soon. I'm proud of you for staying home with the kids and being happy about it though. GG is always a lift me up and the other great things going on for you sound awesome too.

Wish you could have come here with the kids while he was away! (: Love you!

Gilmore Girls is a great thing to watch marathon-style when your husband is away! Here's to finding things to be happy about when you could succumb to sadness!

I love playing this game! At my house we call it the "I'm Looking Forward To..." Game; we play it whenever we're feeling down and not motivated to dive into regular life. That's so exciting about you finding the first season of Gilmore Girls!

Well, chicago is fun so far, but I'd rather be home...at least home in a few days. See you soon Diana! Love you!

I'm glad you're looking for reasons to be happy rather than dwelling on the reasons you may be sad!

Randy rarely ever goes out of town so when he does it feels like free time to me and I love it. It's nice to have the whole bed to myself, nice to watch whatever I want and stay up really late (even though I can do this when he's here), and maybe just because it's something a little different for a change and because it's nice to miss him.

I am sorry I have been gone this whole week with the wedding and my sister in town- such bad timing. Glad you were able to see some good through it all- and Gilmore Girls in there too!
