Update

Today Kira has done really well with the potty training experience. She has had no accidents so far today. She is out right now with her Nana and Gramps getting an ice cream because she went poo in the potty. Kira must have a very strong bladder because she has only gone pee once today and poo twice (I think that's more than usual for her because she had been holding it in for about 3 days now).
Josh is excited for Kira, he loves to watch her and play around her when she is on the toliet. When she's done he wants to sit on it too but I know he's not quite ready yet. (he should talk first right?)
Today has been kind of mellow and has given me a lot of time to think. Most of it has been spent in the living room reading books to Kira while she sits and waits to see if she has to go. (Kira hasn't watch TV since April I was tempted to turn it on so she'd stay on her potty seat but now I"m glad I didn't becuase she loves to just looks at books while she is sitting). I have a lot on mind that I don't really want to talk about yet (nothing exciting) but I was just thinking about the value of sitting and just thinking.

Reading books for Mya was awesome- it helped her to relax and not stress. Sounds like Kira is on the right track. It's cute that Josh is so interested. If he wants to sit on there- why not?!?! You could get two for the price of one!

No TV since April! You are a brave, brave mother! Potty training is such a funny thing. First, it's unfathomable how kids can be so attatched to a diaper! Yuck! Then, they're afraid, nervous, and just plain stubborn about it. And then it just seems to click. All of the sudden they want nothing but to use the big kid potty. Kaitlin has lately started pretending she's a baby. When I suggest that we put a diaper on her it practically sends her into a tailspin. Too disgusting for her anymore.
