Josh and His Daddy

Josh and I have always had a special relationship. He's always acted that he's known that I was his mother since he was born. When he was tiny and would be upset many times I would be the only one that he would want. That was a surprise to me since Kira always preferred Lou when she was upset. Now we have a little boy who prefers his Daddy above all else. Josh still loves me but he is at the stage where my Daddy is perfect. (Does anyone ever get out of that stage. I haven't) Josh gets so sad when Lou has to leave, he wants Lou to do everything for him. If Lou is home you know where Joshy is at because he is always with Lou. Yesterday we were at the baby blessing of my brother-in-laws baby, Claire. They live close to their church so I walked to the house while Lou was going to drive the car over. Josh got so sad I had to explain to him that Daddy was coming too that he wasn't leaving us. He was okay until he saw Gramps walking without Lou (Lou and Gramps were together when we left to start to walk). I then had to explain again Daddy was coming. I hope Joshy always loves his Daddy as much as he does now. His Dad is a good guy to love , I know I do!

Here is Kira with her Certificate of Achievement. We finished her Lets Sticker and Glue Book
Kira loves workbooks like this she spent hours on it for a couple of days. I'll have to buy more because it keeps her busy and it's something fun we get to do together. Kira calls it her homework. I too remember loving books like this when I was a kid, and I loved school, hopefully it's a sign of things to come with Kira.

Boys really are lucky if they have a good daddy. It is fun that Josh loves his dad so much. That pic of Kira is fantastic
