Sharon my sweet older sister tagged me awhile ago to list 7 things about me. Here it goes. I'll try to be creative to think of things hopefully someone at lest doesn't know about me already.
1. I'm taking an Organ class starting Tuesday. I took an Organ class at BYU when I was a sophomore many years ago. I often worry that in the future there won't be anyone in the wards that know how to play the Organ. I've been hesitant to learn though because I don't want Sacrament Organist to be my only calling ever. My sewing class was canceled (not enough people signed up) so I'm taking this Organ class.
2. I wish I was more creative- I see all the creations my friends make and just look in awe and wonder how do they do that!
3. I miss my family every day. I wish I saw my sisters and parents way more than I do.
4. Yesterday I had to set a doctors appointment the receptionist asked if I could come in Oct 2. I was about to say no because I knew we had something going on that day and it was really important. I then realized I had nothing going on that day but the Jazz start their training camp on Oct 2.
5. I want to live in the North East at some point in my life. I literally day dream about living in a town like Stars Hollow. I'd love to have the small town feeling. I have visited a small town in Oregon many times (Nyssa) and I really love it but it's not what I am looking for I believe my town does exist now we just have to find it.
6. I just started taking medicine for anxiety a few weeks ago and I love it. I am a worrier , I give credit to my Dad for that. I went to a doctor fro my allergies and we ended up taking about my anxiety too. I love not being in a constant state of worry.
7. I already decorated my house for Halloween!

Something great about you too is that you love "The Office." I love that show. I thought of you the other day while at Target. They had a whole bunch of Office stuff in their dollar isle. They had this awesome Dwight stress ball things shaped like Dwight's head. So funny! I knew you'd like it.
I just saw this blog template that I thought you'd like: http://www.pyzam.com/myspacelayouts/preview/deron-williams
Check it out.
How fun your taking an organ class! I miss you too!
i didn't know you wanted to live in a small town. We'd definitely take you if you ever changed your mind! (:
and, I didn't know about the anxiety thing. Glad you are feeling better with it. Great job on already decorating for halloween! I decorate for fall a little, but not really halloween too much. Love you!
*you'll have to teach me to sew!

Fun list, Diana. (: I think that's neat you are taking the organ class - I took lessons for about a year in high school, and really enjoyed it (:
I'm really glad that your medication is helping with your anxiety! I too, tend to be a worrier. I really need to get a good check up at the doctor - it's been far too long.
I'll have to come see your cute decorations! I love this time of year :D
Diana-
So fun that you have decorated for Halloween, I am still decorating for fall, then in 2 weeks I will add the halloween stuff!
I miss seeing you too!
I am so proud of you for talking about your medicine. It is never a thing to be ashamed of, but so many people don't talk about it so it seems so taboo.
I took depression/anxiety meds when I lived in Georgia after being encouraged by Lynette, it helped so much! I also found that writing out the things that made me anxious the most and doing a gratitude journal helped so much too, because then I was focusing on the blessings and not the stressors.
The other thing that helped was to make sure that I was socializing every chance that I got, whether it was taking the kids to the park, finding friends that like to do the same things as me and had little kids, etc to do those fun things really helped, but the biggest thing was just getting away from my 4 familiar walls atleast 2 hours a day (even if it was just outside, playing with the kids and while they were napping reading with the monitor on!)
I am glad that everything is working out so well for you, I am envious (sortof) that you are learning to play an organ, but like you said then there is that chance that you are the church organist for the rest of your life, since there is hardly anyone that can do it!
Call me if you ever need to talk,
I love you!
I'm glad that you are seeing results from your medicine and that you feel comfortable about it :) I SO wish I had asked you to teach me to sew before I left... That is something creative that you can do and I can't. Have fun with the organ! I want to take a class..
Wow, I think it will be fabulous to learn the organ. What a fun way to spend some time. I am jealous that you already decorated for Halloween. I think you inspired me to pull it out this weekend.
Glad you are seeing results so fast from the anxiety medication and that the doctor was willing to talk to you and do something about it.
The organ class is cool too. I didn't realize you would need to take a different class to know how to play it- shows how much I know, right?
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I wish Stars Hollow existed too. My Ryan was looking at a job in Conneticut and I was thinking, yeah I could live there and pretend I'm on Gilmore Girls. I have to cry myself to sleep on Tuesday nights now.
