Now that I've been a mom for 3 years and out of school for just as long, I cant' really differentiate between carefree summer and school days. It is the first Fall though that Lou hasn't had to go back to school (we'll enjoy it while it lasts since an MBA is in his/ our immediate future).
My days are always the same, playing with the kids, naptime, cleaning etc. I do love structure and I love schedules so although I have 2 toddlers I feel my day is fairly organized based around their nap schedules. Kira though pretends she goes to school. We always have a project to do during Joshy's morning nap. Today we made Pooh Bear Finger Puppets.
So here is the end of summer/ beginning of school me.

You are such a good mom to have projects every day. That is always so hard for me and I don't know why. Having 2 toddlers does have its advantages although it doesn't feel like it. Great SPT!

i remember *playing* school in our kitchen growing up. my mom even mounted a little chalkboard on the pantry door and we would set up our chairs around it. those times were the best: enjoying "school" and being around mom at the same time!
cute ideas for projects. You are very scheduled and organized too. When does Lou start his masters? Love you!
