I just want to thank everyone for their thoughtful comments. It really brightens my spirit more than you could ever know. I'm doing pretty good. The weight I have felt that has been lifted by just talking about it. I went to the doctor yesterday because I had so much pressure in my ear turns out I'm so congested from allergies that my ear drum is bulging because my Eustachian tube can't release all the fluid that gets built up. My ear is killing and it's not infected I can only imagine how my little Joshy feels when his ears are so infected and to think he feels this kind of pressure so much of the time makes me have so much more sympathy for him. Anyways I talked to the doctor to tell him I think I was depressed he just took my word on it and prescribed Prozac. I thought it was a good short term solution. I was amazed though at how easily it was to get an antidepressant.
Yesterday during our little devotional we had a lesson on Daddy. I just wanted to the kids to know how much I appreciate their Dad and all he does for us. So later in the day I asked Kira to color a picture for Lou to show her appreciation. I guess she wasn't particularly in the mood to color because she did color but with only one crayon and then said Mom he's your husband why don't you color a picture for him!

Thats funny kira!
That is so hilarious what Kira said. I hope you start feeling better soon.
I'm so glad you're starting to feel better. It is easy to get antidepressants these days. No visits to the psychiatrist anymore. Just go to your GP.
What a funny thing for Kira to think of! Kaitlin's the same way. She loves to color, but when I put the pressure on her of coloring for someone she hs creative block, or something. She hates to draw for other people. Funny to experience performance anxiety at such a young age!
oh my gosh Diana! I laughed so hard when I read what Kira said, it sounds so much like something Mckenna would say, and yet, in her quiet little way, I can see Kira saying something like that...
I think that your doctor probably saw something that you might not know anyone would see and so it would be easy to get the antidepressants. Usually, they do ask a few questions. Well atleast my doctor did.
I love you, I hope you feel better with all that congestion soon!

What a classic "out of the mouths of babes" moment! Eloise says things like that at times that just crack us up. Kira's so cute. Glad things are going a little better!! Miss you!
