Happy 32nd Birthday to my dear sister Sharon. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my sister Sharon. Sharon and I are less than 13 months apart. (thanks Mom) We've always been really close and keep getting closer as we get older. I wanted to share some of my favorite memories of my great sister Sharon. In no particular order here are 10 great memories.
1. Playing on Newport Beach together on family vacatios meeting other kids. One of my favorite times was when we met 2 little boys and we had them convinced that we were from France. We would speak "French" to each other. The day ended by them telling us they were from Catalina and we told them they couldn't be from a salad dressing :)
2. Sharon has come out for each of my children's births. Sharon was so nice to have around. Sharon helped with the meals, when Joshy was born she played a ton with Kira. I never got tired of her being around.
3. When we shared a bedroom when we were young, for the longest time we'd play "up in the sky" when we were laying in our beds trying to fall asleep. All of our stuffed animals were up there with us, we'd pretend to eat homemade pizza, we'd listen to our favorite music. How I wish I had the imagination we had when we were kids.
4. Planning plays and singing and dancing programs for our parents. I think we did this every Saturday for years. We'd line up all our stuffed animals on the fire place, they'd be the choir we'd be the main characters.
5. Sharon and Rich kindly brining me to Miami with them while they were checking out an AD school for Rich shortly after I got home from my mission. They were so kind, I was so weird yet they still made me feel wanted.
6. The 3 weeks I stayed with Sharon after Indigo was born. I went out 10 days before Lou could come out. Sharon and Rich again never made me feel like a 3rd wheel. I never get tired of being at their house.
7. Our "year"together at home before Sharon's mission. I came home from BYU to do a study abroad through the U, Sharon moved back home to save money for her mission. It was such a great 6 months we had together. All of our friends were friends, we always did things together in the evenings and on the weekends. It was great to spend that time together before our missions and before we got married.
8. The many countless hours we played school and Small World Entertainers up in our bedroom when we were young.
9. Playing Nintendo in our room while listening to Erasure. (especially the time our parents came home early from a trip and we had to hide Dave Wilson in our closet and sneak him out)
10. Watching hours and hours of Lost together in my basement after Joshy was born.
I love you Sharon, Happy Birthday!

Boy, are you and Sharon in TROUBLE!! Dave Wilson hidden in the closet, and "sneaked" out???
This is the first we know of this!!
NO HomeMade Pizza for two weeks, (while we will have it EVERY night!), and straight to your rooms as soon as you get home (and NO songs from Dad in the hallway, to put you to sleep.
