Love Swap and Story Time at the Museum

I signed up for a love swap on Missy's blog. I just received my package today. As you can see from the pictures I was quite spoiled The kids were so excited that I was opening a huge package with so many goodies inside. I put the apron on right away and haven't taken it off since. I'm really excited about it because I've always wanted a cute pattern for an apron but haven't wanted to buy one (I know aprons are simple but I really need to see something to make it) so now I can make more just like it . This package put my package to shame. I didn't realize we were suppose to put an item representing each letter of LOVE SWAP so I feel pretty dumb now and will have to send my girl some extra goodies. This package made me so happy.

Yesterday I took to the kids to the cultural museum at BYU for their story time. I went with our friend Esther and her kids from our ward. The kids loved it. It was different than the library not quite as fun and exciting but the kids loved it and it was fun because they got to learn about a different culture which I love since I love studying different cultures.

Last night was enrichment in our ward. I went it was a lesson on organization. I wasn't going to go because well I consider cleanliness and organization as one of my strengths . I am very happy however that I went. It's nice to meet with sisters in my ward and feel that love and sisterhood. I did learn something actually not about the house but I applied it to prioritizing my activities.

I feel that I'm forgetting to post about something but I can't remember. So I guess that's it for now.

Cute package! What a fun idea for a swap. My kids would be ecstatic to receive a package like that.

I'm jealous of your close proximity to BYU. There are so many cool things going on there. I'm glad you had a fun time.

the swap sounds like a lot of fun. glad you were able to participate in that. cute stuff, too. i don't think i've ever worn an apron but i think they are so cute! (: We got matching his & hers ones for our wedding and i need to pull them out.

i thought we sent those dvds to you guys a long time ago! i'm sorry about that. we've had season six back since right about the time gray was born, so i'm sure it was just forgotten. i'll try to get that done this week and sent off. they are so good. wish they would have kept going with the old writer for a bunch more seasons. would you e-mail me your thoughts on babywise? i'd love to hear what you thought about it. thanks!

I am so glad you liked your box. I am so sorry it took so long to get to you. I also realized I left out your card!! Sorry mommy brain took over! I tend to overdo things so I am sure your box was great!!! I am thrilled your kiddos loved the goodies. My girls made the heart pillows and my son helped pick out the sweets.
The apron is so simple to make. Let me know if you have any questions. I can email you a couple links to easy tutorials for aprons too.
Glad you had fun at museum.
Have a great week.
