Birthday Recap

Sorry for this late recap I just haven't been in the mood to blog. I just need to start being consistent with things again. My birthday was great. Kira sang to me all day long and would constantly say Happy Birthday. I received phone calls from my sisters and emails from friends, my neighbor brought over cookies so it was all so nice. Lou had the kids meet him at the car when he got home from work, he blew up balloons and the kids would knock on the door and bring them to me. It was very cute they were so excited. Lou got me an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins (white cake with strawberry icecream) yum yum. We ate the cake put the kids to bed then Lou went to Zuppas and got me a Hawaiian chicken panini sandwich and a chicken berry salad. We watched the Jazz game (perfect they beat Minnesota by 29!) re watched the Lost episode ( the great one about Desmond) and then around 11 we woke up the kids so they could see me open my presents. The kids were so funny since they were so tired and sleepy it was fun to see them like that. Lou bought me a photo cube, a clock to decorate and a storage bin. I didn't really need the bin (I don't have enough scrapbooking stuff to put in it) and if Jessie still lived close I probably would venture with the clock but I'd hate to mess it up and have to just hide it in the closet. Lou was thoughtful with his gifts. Overall it was great. I don't feel like I'm 31 although I don't know how that's suppose to feel. I look younger than 31 right?

I'm so glad that you had a nice birthday! Lou did a great job with your gifts, and I love the party hats!

I still think that you should just give it a shot with the clock. I bet you'll end up liking it.

Yes, you definitely look MUCH younger than 31!

Happy Birthday! It sounds delightful. The clock sounds like it would be fun to decorate. You should try it out. It might be a good escape. Love the balloons. Your kids look like they had fun. 31 is so far a fun year

Glad your birthday was so great! The clock and shadow box sound awesome- you could look up stuff online and even just copy a design. Should be fun! See you Friday night!

Hope you had a good birthday! Sounds like you got lots of your favorite things to enjoy and a great night with your husband. I don't think you look a day over 22, seriously! Wish I looked so young :-)
