Joshy's school had a big barbecue last night. IT was a ton of fun. The highlight of the evening was when the firetruck came, They hoisted their hose up the latter about 40 feet high and then squirted the kids. Joshy was a little scared but Kira loved it. We all got sopping wet. I forgot my camera but we took a picture of the kids as soon as we got home.
Today was the Children's Parade. We all marched in it with our summer reading program shirts. We even got Mark to do it with us and him and Lou ended up holding the banner. Gramps and Nana came to see us it was great. After the parade we met up with Alyssa and her kids at the farmer's market, They had free Panda Express. After a great free lunch Nana and Gramps treated us all to Gelato.
It's been a great weekend to get us in the Patriotic spirit for the 4th. Tomorrow is a Patriotic Devotional at the Marriott Center. Glenn Beck is the Key Speaker. I have to work at it. But Lou and his parents are planning on taking the kids to attend.

It is so fun to do family stuff in the summer- esp now that Kaylee is older. Being in a parade though, not sure if we are ready for that.
