I am feeling alright the recovery is taking a lot longer than I would have anticipated. I don't like feeling stuff upped all the time. I don't like the pressure. I just keep on reminding myself this will all be worth it in the long run.
I am loving how much Kira and Joshy love playing with each other or by themselves during the day when I need to get things done or do what I want. This is how I found Kira when I noticed I hadn't seen her in about an hour yesterday.
Here are my Halloween decorations I don't have much yet but someday I'll get more Fall type decorations and less Halloween I just love it for the kids right now.

Lou and I bought Rock Band 2 yesterday as an early anniversary present to each other. It is so much fun. Robin came over last night to help us enjoy our new game.
Saturday's BYU game was one of the best sporting events I have ever attended, let alone get paid to attend. Despite feeling tired and congested from my surgery that game gave me so much energy. I despise teams from LA just for the mere fact that they get sooo much attention because they are from LA. It was wonderful to see BYU trounce the UCLA Bruins to the tune of 59-0. Hopefully it will keep quiet all the doubters over that "controversial" BYU win over Washington the week before. (BY the way it was not controversial BYU had to still block the PAT to win!)
Also Richard Wright died. He was the amazing pianist for Pink Floyd. I was sad when I heard. I had to email Lou, Rich and my sister Sharon right away. Like as if a friend had died. Rich did a great tribute post to him on his blog.
so those are my randomness of thoughts.

Your passion for basketball is hilarious and always makes me smile. Glad you have something that makes you tick so well!
Cute pic of Kira-she's getting so mature looking! Love it. Cute decorations too. We'll have to come play rockband 2 sometime. Love ya!
It was a football game Karli. But that would be a totally awesome score for basketball :)
Kira looks so cute. Her pink bed is darling.
I'm excited to decorate for Halloween/Fall as well.
GO COUGARS!! We bleed blue at our house, so that win--especially in light of all the pre-game doubting media hype--was sweet indeed. I think my husband would like your job!
I hope the recovery speeds up and you an enjoy the benefits of your surgery! Sounds tough. hang in there!
Don't you love when you find your kids (after scary silence) and they are actually happy and entertaining themselves, or better, playing together nicely. Good moment.
