quick note to tell everyone my surgery went well. Yesterday was hard hard hard a lot harder than I had anticipated. I think I kind of forgot I was actually having surgery and just thought about the positive aspects that would happen after wards. Everyone at the hospital was really nice. I was especially nervous about the anesthesia since my epidural experience with Kira. the anesthesiologist however was very nice and friendly she reminded me a lot of Sharon's sister-in-law Tarali. She calmed me down and made me feel at ease. the surgery itself lasted 2 hours i was in recovery for a couple of hours and then in post-op for about 3 hours. Today I'm much improved I can actually sit up for more the a few minutes without feel queasy and I haven't thrown up today. I am so glad Lou is home to take care of me and the kids.
I would post a picture but I look too gross.

Sorry that the after effects are proving to be a bit harder than you thought. I hope that as you're feeling it you're still focusing on all those positive changes that will happen b/c of the surgery! I am glad you posted b/c I have been wondering how you're doing. Hang in there!
Glad to hear that all went well. I had sinus surgery to repair a deviated septum and to "cut windows in my sinuses" (ew) about 24 years ago (wow--can't believe it has been that long ago!). I remember looking and feeling quite horrible at the time. Hope you're feeling better soon!
I hope that you are well on your way to recovery by now. Surgery is always nerve-racking, but I am sure this will be worth it for you!
Come on, post a pic!!!!!
I'm glad to hear your surgery went well and that you're feeling better! I hope you are fully recovered really soon! I probably wouldn't have posted a picture either :)
