Probably no one has checked my blog in a very long time, why would you I haven't posted in a month or about a month. But as most of you know it's not really my fault. The holidays were busy for us like everyone else which kept me from posting. Now as most of you know I went to the doctor a week ago after being sick pretty much since before Thanksgiving and found out I have strep and mono. I'm so tired all the time and really have no desire to do anything. I have hated the last week or so. At least during christmas I was motivated to do things and get out. We now haven't been out of the house all week and me and the kids are getting a little stir crazy.
If I have been posting I would have posted about our wonderful Christmas Eve, just our little family. We went to Nicolitalias' Pizzeria. It was delicous and actually crowded. We read in Luke 2, Joshy was our shepard, Kira was our angel, I was Mary and Louis was Joseph and of course Mama Piglet was our baby Jesus. After the kids were in bed we finished wrapping gifts, then played RB2 with Lou's friend Ken. (who also had Pizza with us)
I would have wrote about the special spirit and excitement that our kids brought on Christmas morning. The lovely lunch we had at my aunt Claire's house and playing my Nintento DS pretty much all day.
I would write about our second Christmas and Lou's parents house the day after Christmas and the weekend we spent there playing in the snow and eating treats galore.
I would write about our quiet New Years eve at home because I really didn't feel up to driving up to Salt Lake plus risk getting anyone else sick. It would've been fun going bowling with Lou's family and playing Guitar Hero World Tour at his Uncle Dave's house to ring in the new year but we still had fun playing Phase 10 just the two of us at home.
I would write about my desire to do goals like my friend's Rachelle and Hannah and my sweet friend/cousin Karli posted but write now I just have to make it through the day. I have though kept my goal of writing in my journal and the kids journals every day in this new year.
I would write about how excited this Cougar was to see the Utes humilate the Crimson Tide in the Sugar Bowl and how I would sign a petition if I thought it would help to get them named National Champions.
I would also write about I love my Nintedo DS that Lou got me for Chirstmas and I have enjoyed it so much when really its all the energy I have to sit on the couch and play it. I would write about really all the thoughtful presents I received from friends and family. I would write how I am jealous that I gave Annie that Mrs. Korver shirt and didn't get one too.
Anwyays those are the things I would have written about in the last month. I will be better I promise about posting that is if I"m not too tired or unmotivated :)

Sorry you have been so down on energy. I had mono in high school (or was it middle school...) and remember being tired, but more bummed out that I wasn't allowed to go to school and had to do all my work at home. I swear it was like 2 months or something. I hope it doesn't last as long for you.
I hope Lou and the kids don't get it too! Take it easy and cut yourself some slack and get better!
In spite of it all, you look great in those pictures. I'm sorry you haven't been well. What a bummer!
Oh dear, I still can't believe that you have strep and mono! That is just a serious bummer. I hope that you are getting lots of rest and that Lou is taking good care of you!
I really like the snow pictures. It has been unreal this year.
Sounds like your Christmas was fun and relaxing. Enjoy that Nintendo DS!
Hey Diana, I am totally lame as well. I haven't updated our blog in FOREVER. I just can't get motivated to do it. I am so sorry you have been sick. Atleast you have been keeping a journal, not me. Well, I hope things get better for you.
My daughter Sarah got a pink Nintendo DS for Christmas and I must admit that the game Brain Age is fun. I was alarmed, however, the first time I played I got a score of 80 years old. In my defense, Sarah handed me the game to start playing when I was in the middle of doing something on the computer. I tried again a few days later and lowered my score to 40--still not great, but better than 80!
I thought the earth had stopped spinning when I saw my husband cheering for the Utes! Never thought I'd see that day. We were happy for them, however, and the good light it shines on our conference. It's just still a little weird to think we bleed blue, but were cheering for Utah.
You holiday sounds relaxing and fun, though not so fun to be sick. I hope you are on the mend soon.
I'm calling you. I had no idea how sick you are. I'm so sorry... what a bad friend I am!
Cute pics. Hope that you are all better! Sounds like a great Christmas
I'm so glad that you had such a great season! I'm jealous, however, that you got so much snow over the break. Denver held a steady high around 60, which was highly pleasant, but I wanted to be snowed in.
I read this post a few days ago but didn't get to post until now. That's so great your Christmas season was so stellar! Your family is so cute, and I'm sorry you've been so sick lately. Hang in there, Diana! I hope you start feeling all the way better really really soon!
I hope you're feeling better. We missed you at bookclub. Your holidays sound like a lot of fun, relaxing family time. I like your photos- we've been enjoying the snow too!
