Gratitude (Tuesday and Wednesday)

1. My Dad- Today is my dad's 71st birthday. He doesn't seem that old though. He is very young in spirit and he is very healthy. I love my Dad. I wish I could see him more often. My Dad is kind, he is funny. You can talk to him about anything and know he will listen.

2. Veteran's- I have thought today about all the men and women serving our country. I hate that we are at war. I don't agree with it but I am so thankful for the soldiers who are willing to put there lives and risk. I'm grateful for the sacrifices their families make. Yesterday while working at the BYU game, during the National Anthem. I saw a man probably in his 70s or 80s. He was saluting the flag during the anthem. It was so touching. He had tears in his eyes. I can't help wonder the experiences he had possibly in WWII or Korea.

3. Louis. I woke up so sick this morning. Everything was spinning. Seriously it felt like I was on a tilt a world or something. I couldn't look at anything without it moving on me. Lou kindly took the morning off and took care of the kids so I could sleep. I am still sick but not feeling dizzy anymore. Lou is the greatest!
