Goals
Of course the first week of the year I have to be sick. I usually don't like January but I thought this year I'll just treat it like any other month and love it. Its hard to have that attitude when you get no sleep because you have an awful cough that will not go away. I have thought about what I want to change in my life. Here are a few goals but I read an article that said only add one goal a week at a time as to not be overwhelmed.
My goal this week has been to read my scriptures first thing in the morning. I started to be consistent with it last year but really dropped off when I was sick with my thyroid for so long. I think if I conquer this goal all my other goals will be much easier. My days are always 100X's better when I read my scriptures. It always helps me focus what needs to be done for the day and helps me place my priorities.
Other goals I have in mind
1. sew every day
2. piano every day
3. Random acts of service once a week
4. letter writing to family and friends
5. Journal writing
6. P 90 X. Lou is doing it I should join him.
7. consistency in my blogs.
those are just a few of my goals.

Jared also mentioned that he and I should do P90x together, but the only time we could find that might work was 6:30 in the morning. Uggh. Maybe one of these days. How long has Lou been doing it? Does he like it? I hear its death. But, I'm kind of all about that when it comes to working out. Yay for goals!
We're trying to do nice things for people too. Today, Luke kicked a ball back when it got away from a kid at the park. I laughed when I saw how pleased both Luke and the other kid were after the exchange. I guess a little really does go a long way.
Those are great goals. My #1 goal is to be nice. Is that funny?
I think thats a great goal Rachel.
Great goals! Good luck with them this year!
