The house is quiet I have time to think. It feels like having time to sit and think and ponder hasn't been available to me for six years.
No noise besides the birds chirping outside. The sun streaming through our big living room window. Its the perfect setting to contemplate my day. To study my scriptures, to learn how to be a better mother, wife, friend.
After studying, thinking there is time for music. To sit at the piano and play its magical keys while absorbing my morning thoughts and study.
Today I studied this
Mother's Teaching Children in the Homes
which lead to a study of this
Psalm 127
followed by this
Guide to the Scriptures- Children/Child
finally to this
Guide to the Sciptures-Love
Which finally made me understand how a particular scripture relates to me despite serving a mission and hearing it constantly
Peter, lovest thou me more than these? Feed my sheep, John 21: 15-17.

glad you have that time for yourself now too. It's so vital that we take time to ponder & study and think quietly. Love that time myself.
This year my shows are again: Parenthood, Glee, Biggest Loser, Lie to Me. You?
I was thinking about how nice that must be to send your kids off to school and have that time to yourself. At the rate we're going Kyah will be entering 7th grade before I get to experience what you described. Eeeek!
