- Yard Work- I feel like all we are doing ever is yard work. Or at least Lou. I do what I can but after working on our side strip for an hour and a half my allergies were so bad it was really hard to be motivated to do much more the rest of the week besides watering. I also don't like it because it takes away time that Lou could be working on the inside of our house. but it needs to be done since no one lived it for a year. The people before us were renters so they didn't take care of all of it like they should have so so much clean up has been done but more yet has to be done before winter.
- Window Shopping- since we are still in the process of fixing our house up how we want it I am not buying decorations for it yet. I do however have ideas on how to fill the many shelves in my living room. I have shelves in the archway between the kitchen and living room. I love them but I've had a hard time deciding know what to put there. I have now decided that I want LOVE blocks for the 2 middle shelves on each side so each letter would be on one shelf. L and V on one side and O and E on the other. I then want photos on the top and bottom shelves of each side. I have not been able to find the Love blocks that I have pictured in my head. I am afraid I will have to make them but I really don't know how. so my dear creative friends if you can comment or email me with your know how that would be great!
- Play Dates- I feel like every day the kids have play dates. Its great that they so quickly found friends.
- Girl Scouts- Kira is a Daisy. My friend Alyssa started up a troop. I am the assistant leader. Its been fun the first few weeks.
- Rock Band- On Wednesday my BFF Robin came over for some Rock Band fun. It was great. We hadn't played in a long time. tons of laughter and good times.
- Dodge Barrage- I won a contest on Twitter to have a spot on a team for the Dodge Barrage. Its a huge charity event put on by D-Will, Kyle Korver and Ronnie Price of the Jazz. I actually didn't end up playing but Lou did and our team did great. I was happy because I got a picture with all the different players there I think 7 or 8 total. It was fun to see the players in such a casual atmosphere. It gets me excited for the season which begins relatively soon.
- Talks, Piano and Lesson- today Lou and I gave talks in Sacrament Meeting. We were asked to speak on Premortal Life. I also accompanied a musical number in Sacrament right after my talk and before Lou's. I then taught Sunday School this week. (Lou and I teach the 12-13 year olds). It was a busy Sunday but it all worked well. People complimented our talks a lot and my piano skills which always makes me happy.
- Family Dinners- we ate dinner at Jeff and Leann's yesterday. They watched the kids while we were at the Dodge Barrage and we went up there today for a bigger dinner with cousins and Lou's grandparents. Its nice to have family so close!
Well that is part of our week. Good busy times!

Sounds like lots of work but even more fun! Hope this week is going to be even better!
Isn't it crazy how the start of the school year just seems to propel every aspect of life? Sounds like you had some fun times thrown in there though too.
And teaching 12-13 year olds-- probably bottom of my list for desirable callings. Glad it is going well for you!
