Josh

Little Josh came home sick today. His teacher called and said he had been laying down all morning and just looked like he didn't feel well.  I picked him up. He was laying near the TAs (our neighbor, Mary Hill) desk. He wouldn't sit up without help.  He looked so cute.  All his classmates said goodbye.  One of the girls said to him as we were leaving .."Bye Joshy, you're the cutest in the class".   Lou said when he dropped Josh at school in the morning he heard as he was leaving "Hey Joshy" in a big friendly voice.  I am so glad to see how much my son is loved. I was so worried to start him in school this year. He is shy, small and young for a five year old.  One thing though is Joshy is very nice.  Over the top nice, I think thats what attracts people to him.   Just a few weeks ago. Josh came home from school, ran and got two stickers and put them in his school bag. I asked him what the stickers were for, he said for two girls in his class.  Josh said how Katie (the one that said he was cutest in the class) and Aubrey didn't receive stickers for dancing in PE for some reason and the rest of the class did. He wanted to bring them stickers so hopefully they wouldn't be sad for not getting stickers in P.E.  That is one example of the kind of nice things Josh does without any prompting and suggestions from me or Lou.
I told Lou what happened today we were talking about how nice Josh is and I teased him that someday when Josh is Prophet I'll be telling these Kindergarten stories about him. I then realized that if Joshy ever is Prophet I'll probably be dead by then.  So maybe I won't be telling these stories then but I can share them now on our blog and I'm sure many other times :)
