Talking to my Dad today. I love talking to my Dad on the phone. Its so nice, he remembers things about me that I don't even remember. Its nice to have people in your life that have known you forever and still love you!
Visiting teaching- I don't have visiting teachers who come but I love the sisters I visit teach. We teach Kelly who is so warm and welcoming, she has college age kids (a girl and a boy, just like us) her son is on a mission. I feel like we learn so much from her about parenting and life. We also visit Cheri, who is so smart and knows so much about the gospel. She has two teenagers and a 6th grader. Cheri's daughter is Kira's piano teacher. The third sister we visit is Hailey who is young and newly married, she is so friendly, and smart, its fun to talk to her and remember that time of my life with Lou. My companion Denene is super fun and nice and so easy to schedule with. Denene has been in the ward for about five years, she has two little ones, reminds me very much of my life a few years ago before the kids were in school.
Visiting teaching is such a blessing, a great way to make friends and enrich your life.
