Joshy

Today after school Kira had a play date with her friend Mia, so Joshy and I had some good quality time all by ourselves.  Josh and I had two conversations that I just want to cherish so I thought I'd share them on here.

Josh: Mom would you think it would be cool to sleep in a tree if it was comfortable, like if it was the most comfy cozy thing you ever laid on?
Me: yeah that would be cool
Josh: would you want to have a tree house in our tree in the backyard
Me: yes I think that would be lots of fun
Josh: me too, you and I could hang out in the tree house all the time and I would show you my rock collection. I have lots of rocks, and I want to show them to you.

Josh: Mom I am really curious how you came to the earth
Me: yeah?
Josh: yeah so how
Me: well I have parents like you so I came from them. Heavenly Father gave me to them.
Josh: oh so how did they come to earth
*This conversation goes on for awhile covering several generations of parents*
Josh: so how did the first people get to earth
Me: Adam and Eve were the first people on earth
Josh: yes, but how did they get here?
Me: Heavenly Father placed them on the earth.
Josh: but who took care of them when they were babies? I mean they couldn't just take care of themselves
Me: no thats why they didn't come as babies, Heavenly Father had them come as grown ups
Josh : wow

One more thing Josh asked today
Josh: Mom how do people get twins
Me: they have two babies at once (not really wanting to go into how an egg splits or two eggs fertilized)
Josh: so do the parents pray extra hard to have two babies instead of one
Me: I guess some parents might pray for twins but some are surprised by their twins
Josh: oh so did you not pray to have twins
Me: no sorry
Josh: oh well do you want to pray for them now
Me: no, I am happy with you and Kira
Joshy was a little disappointed but said OK

Cute! The twins conversation was my favorite. It just makes you wonder what is going on in their little minds to even think of that! So funny. :)
