And This Is What She Had to Say ....

For  three years on and off I kept gratitude journals for Kira, Josh and Lou. I would write why I was grateful for them each day or something they did that was nice to me or cute etc. I don't know how I stopped but  I did and I regret it. I have missed two years!
After teaching our Sunday School kids about the importance of journals and hearing the girls in our class share their testimonies of how keeping journals have benefited their lives, I decided it was time to stop being lazy and pull my gratitude journals back out!
I knew Kira had discovered the journals and read the entries.  I didn't know however that this is what she had to say back in November of 2011...

Kira does not have school today it is Thanksgiving break. I love that I can spend time with her today. They woke up early today just to play a video game today. I do not have plans for Thanksgiving but I hope I do soon or else I will have a small dinner. I just want to tell you how much I am thankful for you. You are my favorite little girl Kira.

Today is Thanksgiving.
Isn't that so cute. Kira writing as if she was me. I love that she can write like me and that she can write so much love for her from me, that she really feels that way!
Kira at City Creek Fanzz store in my hoodie and a cute hat she found.
My Kira is just so awesome.  I hope she is always chooses to be who she wants to be.
