Busy Burdens

Today was just so busy and it will stay super busy till next week. I just really wanted Lou home to help with the load. To help when I had no patience with sweet Kira.  Its so hard having him gone. I know its all I talk about here but it is so hard.

Tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow despite being crazy busy, I'll make sure to take a few minutes for me, to eat (I get really grumpy when I don't eat regularly).   There will always be more blessings than burdens is what Elder Holland said. Even today more good things happened than bad things and that will be true tomorrow and the day after that too.

home

We got home on late Friday. I have a ton to blog about our trip, and our house remodeling which has put our life into a whirl.  I just realized its been nearly a month since I've blogged and didn't want my readers (haha) to feel like I forgot about this little corner of the internet.

We were in California for just over a week, which wasn't nearly long enough. The kids were angels the entire trip, seriously they were so well behaved, I don't remember one squabble or complaining at all not even on the drive there and home.

It is hard to be home and to get back in the swing of things. I want to live near a beach.  I want to have our house finished. I don't do good with chaos which our life seems to be right now.

Anyways a real post will come soon probably tomorrow :)

Glade Candles, Lots of Thinking and Devotionals

Doesn't that pumpkin pie look delicious? Today I had to buy a few cleaning supplies, on the same aisle are glade candles. I love candles, I have such a weakness for them. I love glade candles because they are cheap and have strong scents. I saw that they had pumpkin pie scent and well I caved and bought one. I know it's not the Fall yet but I really want it to be. I'm getting tired of the hot weather. I know after a month of the cold I'll want it to be summer again, but I'm just ready for a change. I'm excited to light my candle smell the pumpkin and pretend it's October :)
I appreciate everyones comments on my Passion post. I also appreciate emails and calls I got. I really didn't mean for it to be a pity me post. I love though that I have such a strong support system. I've been doing so much thinking and praying trying to figure out what is missing. I had a really good talk with Alyssa today that helped me a lot. I have a couple of ideas that I think will help me find a way to contribute or improve myself I don't really know what I'm looking for. I have delved more into my hobbies this week so I appreciate the encouragement there with my sewing. I have been trying to think of a way to sew and serve or better yet make a little money.
I think I'll take a night class at UVSC since we get tuition free. I'm thinking of either a writing or an accounting class. I have thought to my childhood and remembering what I loved. I wanted to be a sports reporter covering exclusively the NBA . I don't know why I didn't pursue writing ever in college. I also loved math, it was always my strongest subject and again why I didn't pursue a major in college that was math related.. I don't know. what did I even do in college? I got a degree in something I was some what interested in but the fastest way to graduation. Not a great plan! I'll keep everyone updated on my decisions.
Last by not least, I've started doing a daily devotional with the kids. WE do it before I lay Joshy down for his morning nap. It's really short. We sing an opening song, pray, I give a short short lesson (yesterday on kindness, today on service) we have a closing song and prayer. Kira loves it. I've read on other blogs about moms doing this or reading the Book of Mormon with older kids and I thought hey I could do that!
