Grandpa's Protective Arms

My biggest fears and dislikes as a child were scary animals and soggy cereal, according to an essay I wrote in the third grade (maybe second my memory is getting poor). Scary animals to me were cats and dogs. I was terrified of animals, I remember walking home from elementary school, every day I made sure to cross the street before a certain house to make sure that I didn't have to walk past the house with the dog.
So the "traditions of the fathers" do get passed on to the children. In this case the "fear of the mother." Kira does not like dogs. Kira especially doesn't like dogs who get all up in her business. We were at a house recently who had a real hyper dog. This dog would not leave Kira alone for one minute. He followed her all around, jumping on her, jumping on her chair, lets just say Kira was miserable. Kira learned to seek protection from her parents and great grandparents.
