Merry Christmas

We could not be more excited to celebrate Christmas. Singing Christmas carols, reading Luke 2, sipping Hot Chocolate and finally... opening presents. But when to open the presents? When I was growing up we always opened all of our presents on Christmas eve. My Dad claimed that opening presents on Christmas eve was a German tradition, however, I think he just liked to sleep-in Christmas morning. Lou's family did the traditional open up the pajamas Christmas eve and the rest on Christmas morning. We decided that when we celebrate Christmas at our house we will open up presents from my family on Christmas eve and the rest on Christmas morning.
This year we get to celebrate Christmas with Lou's family. Lucky for us Jake is getting married so Leann, Jeff and Mark flew in from Singapore.
This Christmas is also very special because we get to bless our beautiful baby boy Joshua.

Diana, You two make such a cute couple snuggled up on the couch.
Yes, Christmas Eve gift opening WAS, according to my Mom, her German tradition (Can't ask her to confirm that, can you??) and for me, exactly what you said - soo..
