Ward Choir

A cute little old lady (98 years old to be exact) named Sister Widdle bore her testimony on Sunday. She talked about the joy of the Christmas Season. Part of the joy that she mentioned was singing in the ward choir. She encouraged everyone who could sing to join the choir. I have always loved singing. Sharon and I started entertaining our family with cute songs from a very young age. The love of singing only increased as I got older. In high school I enjoyed singing in the A'capella choir and in Madrigals. Since high school it seems like I haven't had as much time to sing, anytime I would join a ward choir I instantly would be asked to play the piano for the choir instead. Sunday, Sister Widdle's testimony conviced me to join the choir. Yesterday I went to our ward choir practice for the first time. I had such a joyful time singing Christmas hymns. Our ward Christmas program is on Sunday, I can't wait to perform!
Kira also loves to sing, she always sings in Sacrament meeting, in nursery and at home. When she is old enough it will be fun to go to the ward choir with her.

I didn't realize you liked to sing, Diana. It's a passion of mine too. That's awesome and brave of you to joing the choir. Good luck with your performance! The picture of Kira is darling. Love you much!

Lucky for us thatwe were given the joy (and blessed with the talent,)of singing. I sing in the choir too, but because of our play have not been able to participate this holiday season and so I am missing the fun. Enjoy the "swelling" of the spirit in your soul and the joy of opening your mouth wide and just letting go with your whole heart!
I love you,
Sandi

Diana,
Love that picture of Kira!!
Boy, how blessed with talent you are - piano & vocal.
And you also spent much time (and your parents $$$s) singing in Small World Entertainers.
And thanx for starting to write more in your blog - look forward to it.
Love,
Dad
