Kitty, Kitty, won't be coming out of my mouth anytime soon. Our stray little kitten has found a home. Yesterday I had reached my breaking point with that neighborhood wanderer. I needed to run to the post office to mail off a few items and I was trapped in my house. I heard the kitty sitting on my porch meowing innocently, I called Jessie unfortunately there was no answer, I didn't know what to do, I knew Kira wouldn't even step close to the door if she heard the kitten but I needed to get our errands done before nap time. Oh what to do, to do. I decided I would be brave and chase the kitten away far enough to get the kids out the door. I opened the door as little as possible, slid out and chased the kitty aways down the sidewalk, I then rushed back into the house to grab the kids before the kitten came back. Kira did not want to go outside, she knew the kitten was close by, so I told her to put on a brave face, grab Piglet and let's go. Kira never ever gets to take toys out of the house but I thought just once to help her be brave won't matter. that was the trick she hugged Piglet tightly and out we went. I was a little nervous to get home incase the kitten was on our porch again but luckily she was not. Later in the night Lou chased the kitten down brought it over to Jessie's house, so Jessie could bring it to a shelter in the morning. Jessie and Charlotte instantly fell in love with the kitten and gave her the name of Sophie. Charlotte doesn't even like cats but she liked this kitten. Jessie instantly began calling people to see who would want a cute little kitten, she found an owner in about 5 minutes time (a cute family in our ward). I am so happy I won't have to worry about little Sophie anymore, I will no longer feel like a hostage in my own house.
Speaking of hostages, I hope everyone watched Lost last night. It was a great episode probably my favorite of the season. After the episode ended we had a little grieving session to accept the fact that we won't have another new Lost episode until February! Man who needs Daybreak anyway! WE were all so happy that Jack finally did something brave and not boy -scouty. I won't say too much because I know some of you are waiting till the season is over to watch all of Lost. All I can say is WOW!

Your kitty antics are funny. Glad that it all ended well and the cat has a good home.
I am 3 behind on Lost and I really hope to catch up this weekend at some point.
It was a good episode! And I can hardly believe it myself that I fell for Sophies--she looked like a stuffed animal! (yeah, who does need Daybreak when you can have LOST?!)
It cracks me up that you guys are being held hostage by a kitten. Whitney and I would be so thrilled if we found a kitten on our front porch.
I agree with you about the episode of LOST, and about mourning over having to wait until February for new episodes!
Whew! Free at last! I'm glad the kitten has a home. Hopefully he stays away from your neighborhood!
