It's no secret that I love basketball. I just love watching it I however do not have the money to go to many live games. I try to go to a Jazz game a year (we haven't been yet this year) and every so often we go to a BYU game, about once a year also. This past weekend BYU played Airforce, since Airforce is nationally ranked #13 BYU tickets were half off so that they could get a full arena. I noticed that it was an early game and thought how fun it would be for Kira and I to go together. I debated it for a few days and then on Saturday morning bought the tickets.
Our friend Alyssa drove us to the game because our car is in the shop and the bus would have taken 45 mintues. (Our car needs a new water something it will cost a lot of money it's kind of stressing me out but I'm trying not to stress since there is nothing we can do except get it fixed. I am really trying to not stress also because there is nothing we could have done to have prevented it from breaking, it's just from normal wear and tear on the car) It was nice having our friend drive us, we didn't have to worry about parking. The game had the largest crowd since March '04 (Rafeal Araujo days) so we're thankful to not have to park.
Kira was so good at the game. I knew she would be good but I didn't picture her being that good. Kira sat in her chair nearly the entire time, the last 5 minutes of the game Kira stood near me (we were on the end of the row). Kira cheered by saying "go cougars" every once in a while Kira would say "go Jazz" I'd have to remind her it was a BYU game. Everyone that sat around us loved Kira and thought she was very cute. I had so much fun with Kira. I am going to work so hard to always stay good friends with her. I always want to be close to my Kira.

How fun! I just love going on "dates" with Kaitlin. It gives me the opportunity to see her in new ways. Who would have thought that was possible after spending practically every minute of every day with her?
So, what do you think about the NBA D League coming to Utah? I'm pretty sure they're coming to Utah County, right by my house. Their arena's supposed to be really cool and huge. It will be about as big as the E Center. Pretty cool. I can't wait to see what happens with that. Could be fun to watch basketball's "minor leagues."

Way to go for being a "cool mom" already! That is so fun to go on mommy-daughter dates with cute Kira. I bet she was the hit of the game! So glad you got to spend that time. Hope your car gets fixed soon and that it has no need for repairs for a long time!

How much fun to be able to go with Kira! I definitely love having a good relationship with my mom and I'm so glad that our relationship began early in my childhood. Mother-daughter relationships are so much fun!
