Every so often Lou will take the bus to work/school. When Kira sees a bus she gets very excited and asks me if Daddy is on the bus. Around the beginning of December Kira decided that she wanted to ride the bus too. Anytime she would want to go out but Josh was taking a nap she would tell me she was going to go out all on her own and ride the bus. Kira would get her purse, put Piglet in her stroller and walk to the door and pretend to leave. Well finally after nearly 2 months of asking for a bus ride we complied. Saturday afternoon Lou and Kira took the bus to Provo Town Centre Mall. Lou said Kira was very excited while on the bus, she sang Wheels on the Bus, said Hi to the bus driver and sat very well in her seat. Josh and I met them at the mall. I hope that Lou and Kira can go on more little outings like their bus ride.
Yesterday I went to the gym despite the fact that I had a headache. I really want to go at least 3 times a week, I know that's not much compared to some of my friends who go 5 times a week but it's a modest goal that I know I can accomplish, once I start going consistantly 3 times a week then I'll up my goal. I didn't do any cardio because of my headache but I did some good work on my abs. I love the feeling I have when I come home from the gym, I feel better about everything, it's amazing how working out can improve so many areas of your life not just your physical well being.

Those pictures of Kira are priceless and the story is great too! What a good daddy to take his little girl for a bus ride. That's a fun thing.
Great job getting to the gym especially since you weren't feeling great. It does make a difference and I know you will keep being strong about it. Three times a week is not a weak goal at all, if everyone would do that consistently we'd be a much smaller world! (: Like you said, 3 times a week is doable and I think it's a great goal! Love you much!
I'll bet she was the hit of the ride! Everybody probably loved her, and Lou was probably a proud daddy. It sounds a bit like Jeremy's Adventure Buddies outings with Kaitlin. He took her on the Trax for her first time. She adored it. Encourage those outings. They're priceless and they will build a relationship that is so precious.
Way to go on the gym. I'm a three times a week girl myself. I know exactly what you mean. My day goes so much better when I take care of myself.
Diana-
Daddy use to take me on the bus to the capital building and I loved it! What a precious memory that will be for kira to have when she is older.
I remember when we would take the white city bus to crossroads mall and eat lunch in the Window on the Square resteraunt in Weinstocks. That was the best feeling, you and sharon loved the ride, I felt like I was a grown-up because I was entrusted with you guys and got to go so far without our parents.
Someday, Kira and Josh will have great memories together too, but for now, having daddy for the memories is very precious I bet for her!
Miss you.
