A Dream Come True and Recent Kira Sayings

Monday! Monday is the day that one of my dreams will come true. As you can tell by the picture it is of course Utah Jazz related. I have always dreamed of going to a Jazz game, sitting close enough to see the players and hear what they are saying. My actual dream is to own season tickets for myself and sit front row but well financially that dream probably won't happen for awhile.
Lou is making a dream come true. Lou was talking to a friend in his class, this friend realized she had never seen pictures of the kids, so while they were waiting for a class to start Lou showed her our blog so she could see the kids. Of course she fell in love with the kids (who wouldn't) she loved the picture of me and Kira going to the BYU game. She asked Louis if I liked basketball, Lou kind of laughed and said yes (of course that's an understatement) This girl said her dad has season tickets to the Jazz, 12th row and that she would be happy to give us tickets for a game. Monday is the day we are going. The Jazz take on the LA Lakers so it should be a good battle.
Lou called last Friday and said he had a surprise for me, he wanted to know if I wanted to know then or wait. Of course I wanted to know he said he'd give me a clue. Lou said the #12. I automatically said John Stockton (that was his number) I don't know why I said John Stockton, I was thinking maybe he got me his player card or something. Lou said he felt pretty bad that I guessed something Jazz related right off the bat. Lou then said row 12 thats when I guessed we were going to the Jazz game. We didn't know what day it would be until 2 days ago. We had a choice between going Saturday and seeing the Celtics or Monday and seeing the Lakers. Well we chose the Lakers because the Celtics are really really bad this year. Hopefully it will be a fun game to watch and the the Jazz win. It's seriously all I can think about, I can't wait.

Yesterday at the doctors office Kira said something that amazed me about how smart she is. While leaving the office we passed a women with a newborn son. I asked Kira if she remembered when Josh was that small she said "yes but Josh has aged." Can you believe that a 2 year old said that, I didn't even know she knew the word aged.
A couple of days ago she was watching Curious George on KBYU. I was making dinner so I didn't realized it ended so the next show came on and she contintued to watch TV. I came in the living room saw what she was watching and decided to ask her what she was watching. Kira responded "The Brady Bunch" I laughed because we've never watched the Brady Bunch together I don't think I"ve ever talked about it around her. I asked her how she knew the name, and she said "Mom because I'm watching and listening" After it was over I asked her if she liked it she said " oh yes, it's nice because people talk"
