Sometimes it's still unreal to me that I have a son. I never imagined myself with a boy since I grew up with only sisters, although I always pictured my kids being a girl and a boy in that order. I know I'm not making sense. Anyways, Josh is my most favorite little boy in the world (good thing he's my son, huh?) Today he woke up from his nap around 5, Kira was still napping. I rarely get moments alone with Josh since he naps so much still at nearly 2. However I had an hour to enjoy Joshy all by himself. I took him out with me to get the mail and then we sat on the porch to wait for Louis. We read through the Target ad that came. Josh was so cute, he loves to sit and cuddle. I've recognized lately that I need to take advantage of these moments since he will turn 2 on Thursday and well cuddling time seems to go down after the age of 2. Josh is so loving and kind he is the perfect little boy for me. I have a really hard time with hyper kids really active kids make me uncomfortable, maybe that's why I've always had a hard time picturing myself with a boy. Joshua is the perfect son for me, he is so calm. I have never met a little kid that is as calm as my Josh. Josh is also really cautious. I know that's rare in a toddler boy but Joshy is. Josh will never get himself in situation where he could hurt himself, Sharon laughed when we took the kids to the pool while they were visiting, she said "boy you can sure see the "White" (my mom's maiden name) blood in Josh, I've never seen a 2 year old boy that is so careful." Now no one think Joshy is a wimp, he's not at all he loves animals, he loves to play with boy toys but he is just so calm and methodical too. Josh also always shows so much love, he loves to run up and give me a hug and kiss, he also always gives me these looks of love and admiration. He gave me a lot of those looks outside today. I loved my moment with Josh outside today.

My toddlers have all been cautious, too -- sometimes to the point of driving me crazy! But at least we don't have to worry about them getting into too much trouble, eh? Glad you were able to have some one-on-one time. I love those snuggly moments.
He is so cute and that is nice that he is cuddly. We have a few of both in our families and we like the rowdy ones too.
Zac can't believe he will be two this week because he has never even seen him! And, the only time I saw him was when he was just born. Crazy how quickly time goes by. We love you guys!

That's so great about being able to spend time with Josh. Those little moments with you and him will really stick; I still remember small moments Mom and Dad would spend just with me when I was little and now they're some of my best friends. Joshy is so cute!
So glad you got to spend some alone time with him. I (sometimes) love it when Kaylee is awake during Mya's nap- I like being able to focus on just her.
It was fun learning a bit more about your boy. Boys are the best and they sure keep life fun
