Many Thank Yous and Things Are Looking Up

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support this past week. It is so much easier getting through a difficult time knowing how many people love you and care about you. So thank you so much everyone. This past week was alright the first few days of the week were hard just thinking about Michael a lot and my Dad but the love from everyone brought me the comfort I needed.

Some highlights of the weekend are me getting my hair colored. It wasn't colored with dye. It's a natural demi gloss that is actually a really deep conditioner that they can add color too. I don't really get how it works but it's 99% natural and doesn't require maintance it will just fade on it's own.  It's about half the cost too of normal hair color. Only downside is it doesn't last as long but I thought the pros out weighed the cons.
Saturday was a fun day before I colored my hair we went to IKEA as a family. It was a lot of fun. The kids just love that place.  Oh before I go on about IKEA I have to say that when Joshy woke up in the morning he asked to go to the bathroom so Lou took him and a ton of pee came out. Then when we were at IKEA he just stopped walking suddenly and crunched his legs together (you know the position) and said he had to go the bathroom. Lou took him  but Joshy didn't go maybe because it wasn't home but anyways by the time we got home about 40 minutes later Joshy's diaper was completely dry and went in the potty. We were so proud of him. So Lou and I thought well I guess its that time to start potty training. We didn't want to start on Sunday because of church but we have started today and he is doing terrific. Joshy has had NO ACCIDENTS and has gone pee in the potty about 7 times :) Joshy is now taking a nap so I put a diaper on him (I did this with Kira too) and told him if he woke up dry he could have 4 mini marshmellows. He was very excited about that so we'll see.  Lets just say with how hard this winter has been I am so glad this is going so well. This is the cute little boy I've been looking at all day

Hooray for Joshy! That is quite an accomplishment to have no accidents the first day.

I love Ikea, but Daniel sure doesn't...

Your hair is so cute. I've never heard of that kind of hair color. You'll have to let me know how you like it.

Oh, I'm so jealous about Joshy potty training! I want Alex to so bad, but he is nowhere near ready. I think I'm going to have to wait until the summer. I'll choose a really hot week and just stay home!

I'm so glad that things are starting to look up for you!

I'm glad things are going well and looking up. Josh is such a big boy! That's awesome that he's doing so well with potty training. I hope he continues it! I love your hair by the way...I've never heard of doing that, but I like that idea way better than all those chemicals!
