Last week I had a great day. I had been worried about Kira's schooling. She loved it but as her Mom I just worry until I got this email from her teacher....
Kira is so funny, she makes me laugh every day. She is doing very well in school, she tries very hard and sicks to her work. She can do almost all of the work by herself. She does love to talk, but most kids do her age:), so yes she has made friends. I try to make sure all the kids have a friend to play with. I think she has a crush on a boy in our class, she likes to follow him and always ask him to sit with her, but who knows they might just be very good friends
Isn't that such a fun email to receive from a teacher. Kira's teacher Miss. Maughan is great. I can tell she really cares about the kids. It is her first year of teaching and she is full of enthusiasm and excitement. What else could a Mom want from a teacher.
On the same day. I learned that I finally got the position of Jazz Blogger. I've tried for the past three years. This year I got it. I love that I can say I am officially part of the Jazz organization. I'll let you know more when I know more and I'll post links to my posts on here or facebook so everyone can now what this housewife thinks about the Jazz!
That night I had book club with my friends Robin and Bridget. I just love Robin and Bridget they are some of my favorite people in this world. I love all the laughs we share, I love that we can and do talk about anything and everything. They are always there for me.
Lately it seems like we have been blessed with unexpected blessings. Money is tight because Lou's insurance costs went up at work. (Thanks to State budget cuts... good thing they are spending 2.5 billion on the roads!!!) However we have been blessed monetarily in unexpected ways to help us get by. Kira's dance teacher put her on a scholarship so we don't have to worry about that for now. There are a few other things that have happened. Its just nice to know you're being watched over when it matters most.
Life is great!

Yay for getting the Jazz blogger position! I am so excited for you! I hope you have a blast doing it. And I love the picture of Kira in her little uniform-- Man she's cute. Glad life is in a happy place for you these days :)

Kira looks darling-are they required to wear uniforms? I love when school's do that. It makes it so easy! And, less comparing. She is such a sweetie and I can't wait to see her in person someday soon hopefully!
Taylor is safely down your way, so you should call her up sometime-I know she'd love to visit you guys and the kids. If you know any cute boys to set her up with too...(:
