My New Toy

We have wanted to get me a laptop for awhile. I didn’t need or want a fancy one. Our regular computer is still really good although getting older (six years old). I wanted a laptop so I could use a computer in different rooms in the house besides the basement. So I can pull up recipes in the kitchen while cooking, play music in different areas of the house, play games with the kids, use the Church website for songs and the Friend when doing devotionals with the kids. Also it will be nice to blog during Jazz games w/o having to ask to use Lou’s work laptop. Basically have internet access throughout the house.

There are other things too like taking it to the kids school since I volunteered to be a committee chair and be a member of two other committees at Freedom next week. I’ll have to go to at least a meeting a month so it will be nice to have the computer to take notes.

I had pondered the idea of an iPad because they’re are so pretty and trendy. Lou convinced me that the iPad wouldn’t have everything I wanted. (Although if we had lots of money I still would have gotten one in addition to my new purchase)

So my new purchase is this cute Dell Netbook mini
