Moving really keeps you from doing the things you want to do. I already have a hard time with change add that to the business of moving (even if it is less than 3 miles) and there you go no blogging for two months.
Apology if I haven't been commenting on your blogs also. I finally started looking at blogs again a week or so ago.
I don't want this to be a catch up post. I think thats what kept me from posting sooner. I felt I would have to write about everything that has happened in the last two months and the idea of that stressed me out.
I just want to say that we are LOVING our new house. I love the neighborhood, I love the ward, I love knowing that we actually own it.
I love that despite how old it is ( built in 1955) I still love it. I never thought we'd buy an old house. I have terrible allergies, I don't find them pretty but when we saw this house we knew we had to move here.
I love that Lou is amazingly talented with his hands. Lou can fix, build, improve anything in a house. Lou has a talent with wood and home improvement. Lou is better than Handy Manny and Bob the Builder combined! Initially we thought we just had to paint but Lou will see other things that will make the house look better so he does it. The process is taking longer than expected but it will be so worth it.
PS
I packed our camera apparently in a box we haven't unpacked yet (we are only living on the main floor so many boxes are still packed while Lou is working on the basement). I thought I packed it in my purse. So I don't have any pictures yet to post. Lou has been taking pictures with his phone but I don't have access to those right now. so soon there will be a picture post.

I am so glad you like it! We sure miss you guys. There are lots of kids still around but we miss Kira and Josh! Tell them Hi from us!
Yay! You returned to blogging! I'm so happy you love everything your house/neighborhood. And now having been there and back a couple of times, well, I've discovered it doesn't take quite as long as I thought it would, so we can still be friends. :)>
Diana, So glad you're enjoying and are excited about your new home and neighborhood; I guess Lou doesn't need scotch tape to fix things (inside joke, readers). Your Mom & I both trust
that 1955, the year your 'old' home was 'born', is not a cut-off year for the extension of love.
Find your camera soon so we can see.
Love Dad
I can't wait to see pics of your new house! Or see it in person sometime soon! :)
