I sometimes enjoy these evenings on my own although not as much as I used to when the kids were babies. I remember then that bed time was my most favorite time of day. Now it doesn't seem to matter as much since well I have 7 hours to myself Monday-Friday.
Don't get me wrong I still love bedtime but to have alone time with Lou and since he was asleep before the kids well tonight was just kind of meh.
Tonight I've been thinking a lot about many random things.
- The kids Primary program was today. It was so nice. I loved hearing the sweet children sing their songs and say their lines. Josh and Kira both were confident in their parts, having them memorized and not being nervous. Josh's line was "But have everlasting life" he said his line so slowly and clear.. Go Joshy! Kira's line was "the Israelites were blessed for following the prophet and we can be too" She did great too so confident even though she is sick.
- Lou and I have been teaching the 12-13 year olds Sunday School class since August. We love it. Our class is so great. We finally remembered to get set apart today. I like our Bishop. He set us apart. Although we were set apart for the same calling, our blessings couldn't have been more different from each other. I love that the Lord knows what we need to hear, personally.
- I have an appointment with a new doctor this week. My friend Jen also has thyroid problems. I love my doctor but he doesn't accept insurance and since I'm not getting better its getting expensive. Jen's doctor also believes in naturpatholgy but is just a general practicioner so our insurance is accepted. I am tired of having so many ups and downs with my heath. I have a good feeling about this doctor. (wish me luck)
- I have yet to blog about my Uncle Bob's funeral that took place last Tuesday. I will. It has been on my mind a lot.
- I am reading Eat Pray Love. I am enjoying it like the movie.
- I missed nearly all the Jazz games this week because of other commitments. I finally watched their game on Saturday. The Jazz have won 5 games in a row (4 on the road) by overcoming double digit deficits in the second half. That just doesn't happen in the NBA... fun times!
- I have been working on Sharon's gift for Roman since he was born in August (right August) it will get done in the next 2 days.No excuse for having taken this long.
Just my random thoughts on my night by myself.
